What do I want to get out of being an artist?
I want to make work that matters.
I’m forever striving to find a message to affix to the piece I’m working on. Often, the pen creates its own story (so to speak) seemingly separate of me.
As I’m getting older, I am taking more careful consideration into directing this compulsive energy.
With the clear understanding…
…that there are voices in this world that deserve and need to be elevated above mine. I’m working to tell clear stories with my work, and find message where it applies.
I stand in solidarity with Black Communities against systemic racism and police brutality.
Black Lives Matter
I also stand indebted to the Native American generations before us, those who thrived on this land, and cherished more than we’ll ever begin to know, and who’s ways of life were stifled, in pursuit of whatever we’re calling today’s society.
I am a working artist in Toledo, Ohio

Commission Artwork
Ask about the work I’ve been making recently OR request something new for a wall, studio, office, public space, etc.
Murals, Signage, creative space planning
I love when I can work large scale. If you’re looking to do something more with an interior or exterior space in your business or home or public space, I’d love to be a part of the creative direction conversation.
Branding & Logo Work
One of the truest forms of design (if you ask me) is defining a ‘mark’ that represents your brand. I love designing logos and they are so very important to get right.
Artistic collaboration
If you want to reach out to ask me how to do something in Adobe Illustrator, or if you have a project coming up that needs assistance, or just a casual review. I think that’s what keeps us all going, skill sharing. Hit me up.
About me
I’ve always had a sketchbook within reach.
In school I rode the line between the “technological / digital software / visual communications” approach and the “natural / subjective / artistic drawing” approaches.
I feel the left brain / right brain education in art and design has set me up nicely as a working artist and designer.
I hope to always expand my analog and digital tool set for presentation, professional collaboration and artistic purposes.
Enough Talk, show me some work
I am constantly inspired by my friends.
